Dove joined to kitties, Molly and Muffit on May 29th, 2010.

Dove was a blood donor for 6 years at an emergency clinic in Brentwood, TN. She has saved numerous lives. She still loves an occasional visit with her friends there, but is beside herself with joy when her mom picks her up to take her back home. Dove is the second greyhound for her mom, the first, lived to be almost 15 years old! (Adopt a senior, they are awesome!)

Dove knew she had found her forever home the second she walked in her new mom’s door. The new cement driveway has her name and paw prints forever inscribed there next to the grandkids names. Dove is a calm, elegant lady who has greyt manners. She is so very much loved.

Beautiful Dove came to AAH after a stellar career as a blood donor dog in a local pet emergency clinic.

The staff at the clinic adores her and wants her to find a perfect forever home so she can enjoy a long and happy retirement.

 Dove is an AKC Greyhound and we don’t know her exact date of birth. We think she was born sometime in 2002. She has a gorgeous blue fawn coat that is soft as feather down. Once you start petting her, you just can’t stop!

 Dove will do well in a home with no other dogs.  She is protective of her personal space and does not like to be crowded by other animals.   However, her human can snuggle to his/her heart’s content!  Dove adores human affection and cannot get enough of it.  She is very good with children and loves being petted by them.

Dove is very polite in her foster home.  She is perfect with her potty manners and will whine to let her human know she would like to go out.  She enjoys her crate and will head to her crate when she wants a little down time.

Dove adores treats!  Her foster mom says she will do anything for one of those delicious little morsels!

Dove walks well on lead and will also potty on lead.  She would do fine in a home with a fence or with someone who is willing to leash walk her for potty breaks.
