Cyrus is our one and only baby but has made many small friends.

Cyrus is a very special boy, who loves being by his momma’s side, but he has also has a special bond with his daddy. He eagerly hopes for his daddy to lie down next to him so that he can put his paws around him as if giving him a hug. At night, he sleeps beside the bed and quietly waits for momma and daddy to wake up.

Cyrus’ so well behaved that he stays out of his crate all day while momma and daddy are at work, and he never has accidents, gets on the furniture, or makes any messes. But his favorite part of the day is when momma and daddy get home; boy, does he greet them with enthusiasm! Once his endurance runs out, he collapses and spends the rest of the evening lying by our feet.

Cyrus absolutely loves going on walks; as soon as the leash is in sight, he cannot wait to bolt out the door! He also enjoys car rides; he will eagerly go anywhere momma and daddy will take him and shows it by leaping into the back of the SUV. He prefers treats over toys but does like stuffed animals. He also enjoys when his little buddy, Teddy, comes by so that they can race in the back yard; he is always victorious over Teddy’s stubby legs.

Recently, Cyrus has been the honored guest at a facility for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia. He was adored by all who set eyes on him and stood obediently allowing the patients to stoke his back and feed him yummy treats. He plans to make regular monthly visits with his older friends.
